10:00 – 13:00 Excursion Baku City Tour by Car
The city panorama presented from height of mountain part at a television tower visually gives an idea of contrasts and scales of Baku, covering a horseshoe the Baku Bay.The city has a form of the amphitheater which is going down to the Caspian Sea. Excursion covers the central part of the city with display of the most interesting historical and architectural objects.

One of the largest museums of Azerbaijan – the State Historical Museum was founded in 1920 is in one of the most beautiful places, in the manor, the well-known oil tycoon and the philanthropist Hadji Zeynalabdin Tagiyev constructed in 1895-96. Since May, 1921 the museum which accepted the first visitors and till 1936 the USSR called by the State Museum Azerbaijani, had a special position in development of research institutes and museum work of our republic. On the basis of art historical values of the museum in 20-30 years the museums of the nature, history, art, theater, literature, religion and atheism, the memorial estate Shirvanshahs’ Palace, fund of Manuscripts, then become institute of Manuscripts of academy were created. The museum has 6 departments (Department of exposition and the fund of Azerbaijani history of ancient and medieval period, the department funds and exposition of the history of Azerbaijan of a new period, the department funds and exposure history of Azerbaijan the modern period, the department of numismatics and means epigraphy, funds ethnography department, scientific tours and working with the media), as well as laboratory restoration of museum exhibits, architectural design team, the impact of security groups, the crew, the Commission for acceptance and purchase of exhibits and a library.The total number of museum treasures more than 300 000 points. 20,000 of them are on display in the exhibition, and the rest is stored in scientific repositories -numizmaticheskaya (150, 000), archeological (93 000) Ethnography (9000), Weapon (2300), a research archive (12 000), precious metals fund (15 000), negative (10 000), the fund of rare books (4570) .Muzey published articles «Materials on the history of Azerbaijan.»

14:00 – 17:00 Excursion- Architecture Fortress with a visit to the Maiden’s Tower and Palace of the Shirvan Shahs.

Icheri Sheher’s territory – 22 Hectares, it is a small part of the total area of Baku (44 000 Hectares). Nevertheless, the saturation architectural and historical monuments, dictates need of allocation of this excursion in separate and does this part of Baku, perhaps, the most interesting to survey.There are not full list of sights of old Baku : A maiden Tower (the XII century), the Shirvanshahs’ Palace (the XV century), Synyk Gala’s Lock, the Caravanserai, Djuma Mosque .
19:00 — 20:00 Excursion — Baku Lights
Walk through the National Park (Boulevard), which stretches for many kilometers along the coast — is the most popular place for walking in the city. Boulevard is decorated with chestnut trees, cypresses, palms. Citizens and visitors of the city attract the cool air, proximity to the sea. For each there exists a vacation for the soul — the children happily entertained at various swings and rides, adult leisurely stroll through the alleys. Outdoor cafes, cinemas, clubs, exhibition halls, the building of the Naval Station. Surrounded by greenery adorn Boulevard channels are thrown over bridges. People call this corner of Venice. Entrance to the park is free. For visitors to the park the following entertainment: cafes, restaurants, attractions, playgrounds, benches, concert halls.

The most attractive and interesting section of the Center, which is engaged in studying, promoting and protecting Heydar Aliyev’s heritage, is the Museum of Heydar Aliyev. Notable for its design and the application of cutting-edge technologies, the Museum is in harmony with the rest of the Center.

The Museum describes the history of Azerbaijan and different stages of Heydar Aliyev’s life and work. The information is communicated to visitors in an interactive format.

The three-floor museum displays interesting facts, photo and video material, as well as some unique exhibits relating to nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
