Belém - the beginning of Portuguese colonial expansion

While in Portugal and getting to know the historical centre of Lisbon, we offer you a very interesting tour of the district of Belém, Lisbon. This tour will introduce you to the five most important historical sites on the outskirts of the capital. Although it is worth spending a whole day here. You will also drive over the famous 25th of April Bridge and visit the iconic statue of Christ the King.

The next point of your walking tour is a visit to the most famous pastry shop, which to this day, according to ancient technology, bakes secret cakes from the first half of the XIX century. Yes, you`re right it`s Pasteis de Belém. We know the owners and owners of the secret of production of Pasteis de Belém baskets, so in this pastry shop we will have a tasting of this dessert, drink a cup of fragrant Portuguese coffee or wine from the city of Porto.

At the end of the tour we will drive over the famous bridge of 25 April and have a wonderful photo session at the observation deck, where the Statue of Christ the King is located.
